Today we bring you a 2008 Cadillac XLR.

Our seller says it has been well-maintained and garage-kept. The mileage is low, at just over 30K.

Nor have any repairs other than maintenance been done, apparently.

On the tail lights- people act like it is a $15K part or something. You can have them rebuilt by a reputable company for about $600 each and if they are destroyed for some reason it is about $1,700 each to replace them.

That isn't the most enjoyable money I'd ever spend, but it is one-time repair on a 17 year old luxury brand convertible.

  Ajla- Amazon probably sells aftermarket headlight sets. I got a set for my C6 for under $1000 with the HID projector etc, was a pain to install had to basically take off the front facia/bumper.

28-Cars-Later--Had to take off all the bolts, and the underside cover/facia/fenders to pull the lights out. The C6 lights/lenses are pretty long and sort of oval shaped and awkward to pull out. Then after the install you have to aim them which involves loosening the wheel well and pulling it back to get your socket in there to turn the aiming post. With the front tires off as well. But I park it in the shop so it should last at least until I'm in the ground. Replaced it mainly do to sun damaged lenses lights worked fine.

  And you needed to put all of that in bold? Do you need recognition and medals for every f**king thing? What do you want here, a new pair of velcro sneakers and an "atta boy" ? You will get your awards when you rebuild the 100th GM 3800, now get back at em!

Andarris Here in the Toronto area I haven't seen a 2006-2012 with intact rocker pannels for over two years now. I presume everywhere around the Great Lakes is the same ? They were super cheap dhring the first two years of the pandemic - could get one with less than 85K for around $6500 certified or a little higher mileage for $5000. Glad I skipped it, even in 2021 some of the 10's &11's were displaying corosion like you'd see on a 7 year older Impala, Camry or Accord. Also the mid-model switch to EPS made me balk at the few clean ones I found.

I only fly out of PDX or EUG to LAS or OAK and OGG then back .. have never been delayed in the last ?30-ish? trips to vegas/disneyland/maui/cruise ship vacations.... EUG has contract tsa so we never have any TSA delays. unsure which airports have PRIVATE contract TSA that is UNAFFECTED by the deadlock that i HOPE NEVER EVER END.

Michael S6 The 3 Amigos better hope that the oil spike is short lived as 4-5 dollar a gallon gas would put a damper on their cash cows especially "Ford's strategic shift" of killing off the escape/Lincoln cousin. Most other automakers have a full line of vehicles with much better full economy. GM is sucking air and its Cadillac devision is mostly EV and geriatric line up of ICE cars and SUV's that were supposed to be phased out this year. The expensive gas may push shoppers toward EV but GM's horrible EV reliability is a barrier.
