Today we bring you a 1990 Toyota Celica.

The ad copy is, uh, brief. Morse code was more verbose. So I will do what I can here -- I choose cars based on what's interesting not how wordy our seller is.

This one is an example in ST trim, it has a manual transmission, it's on its second owner, it's white, the interior is blue, and the mileage is 155K. The seller says the shape is "decent."

There's not much else here -- but we do know you can find this one for sale in Phoenix for $3,500. Click here for more

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

There were two of this generation Celica in my family, a '90 and a '91. Both died of failed head gaskets in the 115k to 120k mileage range.

I preferred the generation that followed. I really wanted one of those rally AWD variants of it we never got. Still this would have been far more fun than any of the crap boxed I was driving when this was new
