Lucid is recalling a chunk of early Air sedans because the backup camera may decide to take the day off right when you need it most.
The issue affects roughly 10,816 model-year 2022–2026 Airs equipped with the AD02 package and running software versions 2.8.0 through 2.8.16. Due to a software glitch, the rearview camera image may fail to display when the car is shifted into reverse, which is both inconvenient and a violation of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 111.
