Recall Alert: 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid, 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid
Today's recall involves the 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid and 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid.
Subaru of America is recalling certain 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid and 2025 Forester Hybrid vehicles due to a fuel system issue. When the fuel tank is close to full, rising ambient temperatures can cause fuel to expand and spill out of the filler neck. The issue stems from an insufficient seal on the fuel filler cap.
Until repairs are completed, owners are advised to park their vehicles outside and away from buildings, and to keep the fuel level at or below 50 percent. Dealers will address the problem by replacing the fuel filler cap gasket at no cost to the owner.
Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on March 25, 2026. Affected vehicle VINs became searchable on NHTSA.gov as of February 16, 2026. Owners with questions can contact Subaru of America, Inc. customer service at 1-844-373-6614 and reference recall number WRD-26.

- SCE to AUX KBB says that the ATP of new vehicles was $50,526 in September. As a group, buyers afforded that much, but we know that some (up to 6%) will default. Deducting 6% from that ATP, we get $47,494.So anything lower than that is 'more affordable', and anything higher than that is 'less affordable'.
- Tom170698702 It's time to stop recycling old articles. This one is almost 3 months old.

- Slavuta Is this Ok if I use OEM all weather floor mats? Yes, the ones that came with 2011 Mazda3 were not good. But the ones in 2017 Mazda6 are excellent. BTW, in that picture, Grand Cherokee on Kumho tires. Is this also an advert or just coincidence?

My fuel tank is usually around 25 percent full. Gas is expensive!
Good thing I drive the pinnacle of reliability, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. If I had to keep my tank at half or less, I'd have to stop at the gas station every other day.
