Recall Alert: 2024-2026 Lucid Air
Today's recall alert involves the 2024-2026 Lucid Air.
Lucid is recalling 225 model year 2024–2026 Air vehicles equipped with Pure Rear-Wheel Drive due to improperly secured bolts that could allow the half-shaft to disconnect from the drive unit. A disconnected half-shaft may cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
Dealers will remove, inspect, and replace the bolts free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on December 5, 2025. Lucid’s recall number is SR-25-03-0.

Another loose bolt recall.
This one hurts, I'm not gonna lie.
(I upgraded my torque wrench[es], significantly, about a year ago, but the nice new one is still unopened in the box. How accessible are these bolts? Anyone?)
(Will a '3-ton' low-profile floor jack lift one end of a Lucid Air? Would it help to have a second 3-ton floor jack? Asking for a friend.)
