Today we brought you vehicles that sell well despite enthusiasts having a different preference.

Chicago’s Klairmont Kollections Automotive Museum is closing this year and plans on auctioning off its entire collection of vintage automobiles.

It is interesting to think about that feeling that one may have for their vehicle.

Have you ever heard of a “major appliance enthusiast,” someone who is emotionally attached to their refrigerator?

Many people name their cars. If they name their washing machine it is probably related to subpar performance and the name is predicated on an expletive.

In today's Used Car of the Day feature, I pointed out that the Volvo C30 helped me rekindle my automotive enthusiasm, which was flagging a bit at the time both for professional reasons and because of the state of that era's new-car market. The C30 was not the only car that got me back to the Barnes and Noble magazines section to buy buff books, but it helped -- merely by looking cool.

The Bentley Continental GT Speed is 650 HP and 664 ft.-lb. of torque, with an eight-speed, dual-clutch transmission, and all-wheel drive. It’ll do 0-60 in 3.5-seconds, with a top speed of 208 MPH, the third generation of Speed models, details of which were released today.

Ginetta, a British race car manufacturer for more than 60 years, has opened Ginetta North America in South Boston, Virginia, to provide support for their motorsports customers across North America.

From their U.S. base, Ginetta will be able to not only market, distribute, and sell their sports cars, but grow their presence and the brand. Part of the expansion into North America included the acquisition of TMI AutoTech, a leader in low-volume sports car manufacturing in the U.S.
