QOTD: What Do You Hope To See At The 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show?
I am in sunny SoCal for the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show. What, if anything, excites you about it?
I am embargoed to secrecy on most things, but we've already told you Kia will have the Tellurid e here and Jeep the Recon.
Do those move the needle for you?
Or are you looking forward to something else? If you're in the L.A. area, are you planning on attending?
Sound off below.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

- MaintenanceCosts One of the cleaner-looking 200+k mile cars I've seen. Still fills me with fear and loathing.
- MaintenanceCosts Looking forward to the ad-free Superb Owl.(Also some kind of football game which my hometown team is favored to win, despite having Joe Lunchpail as their quarterback.)
- Foaming Solvent Rivian, specifically the soon-to-be-available R2.
- 1995 SC From any analysis I've seen so far the big winner here is Tesla, which is ironic if that comes to pass lol
- Foaming Solvent "Governor Carney."As Eric Hoffer said, "Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength."

Will Mercury be reintroduced with a new Marquis, and if so, will it have the coveted, long-awaited De Sade edition?
How about a compact sedan for $25K and a midsize sedan for $30k ? That is probably a pipe dream, but I will settle for a clone of the 1985 Ford Ranger 2-door standard cab for about $22K. Just refrain from the electronics overload. If they can make a drive-by-wire gas pedal, they can do it with knobs and buttons, and dump the touchscreen and distracting infotainment - before its outlawed.
