Joby Aviation is bringing its vision of fast, clean city travel to life through a new partnership with Virgin Atlantic, marking a significant step forward for electric urban aviation.
The company’s eVTOL Air Taxi seats four passengers and takes off vertically like a helicopter, but with a crucial difference: it's much quieter and produces zero emissions.
Powered by six tilting rotors, the Air Taxi can hover, lift, and cruise through the skies, reaching speeds of up to 200 mph with a 100-mile range on a full charge. Successful test flights have already taken place in both the United States and Japan, demonstrating its real-world potential.
