Used Car Of The Day: 2010 Volvo XC90
Today we bring you a 2010 Volvo XC90 as our used car of the day.
This V8-powered Swede has 136K miles on the clock and is, according to the seller, in very good condition. There's not a lot of other details in the ad copy, but it appears pretty stock in pics. The car is also called a "Southern car" though our seller lives in Pennsylvania.
If you're interested in a big, safe, Swedish crossover, you can find this one in Allentown, Pennsylvania for $10,800. Click here for more.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

Love this engine. I considered the S80 V8 but was discouraged after researching how involved owning one can be, specifically as it pertains to finding parts. Or a mechanic for when I run out of talent.
My 2007 XC90 with the 3.2 I-6 is approaching 260,000 mi. I bought it wit at 130,000 and have spent less than $500 on unscheduled maintenance. For the high level of safety, comfort and fuel economy I rate this car very high. Iconsidered the Yamaha V-8 option but those were hard to find then. Winter driving, with Blizzack tires, turned into a fun experience with a 4 tires doing their part. Coming from conservative upbring I refuse to support any brand thats been bailed out with my tax dollars, only to fail to make the changes needed to get lean.
