Turns out there was more than one Ford recall today.

Ford is recalling nine 2025 Bronco and Ranger vehicles due to improper windshield bonding. In a crash, the windshield could detach, increasing the risk of injury, and the vehicles do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 212 for windshield mounting. Dealers will replace the windshields at no cost. Owner notification letters are expected by October 20, 2025. For more information, owners can contact Ford at 1-866-436-7332. The recall number is 25C52, and affected VINs are searchable on NHTSA.gov as of October 14, 2025.

If I could buy a Bronco with no more tech than my '19 Trax, I'd give it a hard think before saying no.

Nobly upright, tall and boxy though it may be, it's still a Ford. I'm too old for an iffy car.

At this point, I see very little difference in whether it’s Stellantis, GM or Ford.

Well, one brand has 123 recalls, one has 39, and the other has 20.
