QOTD: What Car Flopped Like the Pontiac Fiero?
We had a Pontiac Fiero as our Junkyard Find today.
We all know the Fiero flopped and flopped hard. What other cars can you think of that had similar flameouts?
Murilee listed a few other GMs in his post, and we all know about the Edsel. Maybe another Pontiac of more recent vintage, the Aztek, is in this basket. And on and on.
So, what would you pick?
Oh, and a note of housekeeping. I am out of office with limited computer access through the middle of the week -- UCOTD and QOTD are likely on break until Friday.
With that of the way, you know what to do. Sound off below.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

I remember in the late 80s, in college suite-mate went out to test drive a gently used Fiero. He was so disappointed in its performance, as its looks suggested something better. The next year another suite-mate brought to campus an 88 Fiero GT with the stick - dad was a dealership owner. Man was that car fun to drive and ride in! I was like "Man they finally got this thing right!" It really was a blast. I remember us guys talking about what will be next with future Fiero development........how bout nothin......

I'd call the new Toyota Crown a flop....I've only seen one at a dealership, parked in the back. Also, the new Accord seems to be a flop.
Ford Probe. To think that was supposed to be the 4th Gen Mustang.
