Hey hey there! It's time for the TTAC podcast!

Yes, we're a little late -- yours truly had a nightmare travel day on the way home from the New York auto show and with the holiday, a lot of folks who work on the podcast were off.

This week we’re in New York for the New York Auto Show. I speak with Eric Ledieu from Infiniti about the brand’s future, and TTAC contributor Matthew Guy teaches us about tire deflators. Finally, we take a break from NASCAR chat so that I can give you my takes on the New York Auto Show.

This article has been updated to correct the spelling of Eric's last name. It's Ledieu.

You can find us wherever you get your podcasts or by clicking here. If you like what you hear, please leave a review!

We thank Eric Ledieu and Matthew Guy for their time, and Matt Posky for editing. Most of all, we thank you for listening! We’ll see you next time!

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

  • KwikShiftPro4X On Kijiji this would be $3000 as-is, where-is. Vintage! Rare! I knows whats I got!
  • SCE to AUX KBB says that the ATP of new vehicles was $50,526 in September. As a group, buyers afforded that much, but we know that some (up to 6%) will default. Deducting 6% from that ATP, we get $47,494.So anything lower than that is 'more affordable', and anything higher than that is 'less affordable'.
  • Tom170698702 It's time to stop recycling old articles. This one is almost 3 months old.
  • Oberkanone Dacia makes product line of affordable vehicles. An entire product line. One vehicle is not the answer for all needs. Dacia does affordable well.
  • YaMoBeThere This is an egregiously bad AI generated article, the middle of the article is repeated twice... but yea go ahead and nitpick about my comment pointing that out
