The Lightest Snowmobile on the Market
At just 200 pounds, the Widescape WS250 is the lightest snowmobile on the market, and it's built for serious off-road adventures.
Compact, agile, and priced at $5,999, the WS250 opens up uncharted winter terrain like never before. It's powered by a custom 242cc 4-stroke EFI engine with liquid cooling and a continuously variable transmission made in Canada by CVTech-IBC, delivering smooth, linear acceleration with strong torque at lower speeds. The aluminum chassis is wrapped in shock- and cold-resistant HDPE plastics, keeping it light and rugged. The 105-inch track, made in Canada by Soucy, provides optimal traction and control in deep snow, while a 12-inch single ski ensures precise handling on all surface types.
The WS250 features Terrain Control mode for smoother, more controlled power in technical environments, and high-performance suspension with 140mm of front travel and 100mm of rear travel. A 4-inch digital display shows speed, RPM, engine temperature, fuel level, and more. What makes it truly unique? A stand-up riding position that lets you lean into every curve and explore off-trail like never before and you can master the basics in just 15 minutes. Would you trade your traditional snowmobile for the lightest one on the market?
Where would you take an ultralight snowmobile?

- KwikShiftPro4X On Kijiji this would be $3000 as-is, where-is. Vintage! Rare! I knows whats I got!
- SCE to AUX KBB says that the ATP of new vehicles was $50,526 in September. As a group, buyers afforded that much, but we know that some (up to 6%) will default. Deducting 6% from that ATP, we get $47,494.So anything lower than that is 'more affordable', and anything higher than that is 'less affordable'.

I don't get a lot of snow. Warmest summer in the history of the U.S. part of North America. Thanks, Stellantis lol.
The way you stand on top of that thing is weird & the ergonomics look really poor. On modern snowmobiles intended for off-trail boon docking & mountain riding you pretty much are standing up all the time. The seat gets more use from your knee/leg than your rear end. I can't see any avid snowmobiler trading in his traditional snowmobile for one of these. I also question its capability in deep snow, which there was none of in the video. I'll stick with my Poo Switchback Assault & RMK Khaos for now.
