We have a Jeep Wrangler 4xe recall.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling 24,238 units of the 2023–2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Plug-In Hybrid due to a software error introduced through an over-the-air update that can cause a loss of drive power, increasing crash risk. A repair plan is still being developed. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by November 25, 2025, and affected VINs will be searchable on NHTSA.gov starting October 23, 2025. Chrysler’s recall number is A7C, and customer service can be reached at 800-853-1403.

How can anyone trust updates after Microsoft?

Involving them in any way with a car's basic functions is criminal.

The last time the 4xe went in for the first fire recall they kept the at the time 3 month old jeep for 12 days. Some problem during the upload that involved calling tech assist. No rental car approved for the downtime. Thankfully it’s a soon to be ending lease.
