Amphibious Search-and Rescue Vehicle: This Vehicle Drives on Land and Water

The Argo Sasquatch, deployed by GlobalMedic, is an amphibious search-and-rescue vehicle designed to operate in extreme conditions where traditional trucks, boats, and ambulances fail.

Built on the ARGO Sasquatch XTX platform, it features 71-inch low-pressure tires, a turbo-diesel engine, zero-turn steering, and a sealed hull that allows it to drive directly into floodwaters. Rescue teams can transition seamlessly between land and water without switching vehicles — saving critical time during emergencies.

With onboard tire-pressure control, enclosed crew cab seating, and dedicated cargo space for medical and rescue gear, the Sasquatch is built for disaster response, flooding, and extreme weather events. Would this change how emergency rescues are done?

  • SCE to AUX KBB says that the ATP of new vehicles was $50,526 in September. As a group, buyers afforded that much, but we know that some (up to 6%) will default. Deducting 6% from that ATP, we get $47,494.So anything lower than that is 'more affordable', and anything higher than that is 'less affordable'.
  • Tom170698702 It's time to stop recycling old articles. This one is almost 3 months old.
  • Oberkanone Dacia makes product line of affordable vehicles. An entire product line. One vehicle is not the answer for all needs. Dacia does affordable well.
  • YaMoBeThere This is an egregiously bad AI generated article, the middle of the article is repeated twice... but yea go ahead and nitpick about my comment pointing that out
  • Slavuta Is this Ok if I use OEM all weather floor mats? Yes, the ones that came with 2011 Mazda3 were not good. But the ones in 2017 Mazda6 are excellent. BTW, in that picture, Grand Cherokee on Kumho tires. Is this also an advert or just coincidence?
