Today we bring you a 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser.

This one has not been driven off-road much -- only twice, according to the owner -- and has apparently been well maintained.

It's also never been in an accident, apparently.

There are over 112K miles on the clock, and the ad lists a extensive amount of features and modifications, including all-terrain tires.

Flaws include some minor bits of rust and other minor exterior issues.

If you're interested in this Washington-state based rig, the asking price is $28,000 and you can click here to see more.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

I always recommend Toyotas for friends who are NOT Auto Enthusiasts, but want a reliable car to go from A to B every day. They do not care if the styling SUCKS, as long as it drives safely and does not fail. ...................... But I will NEVER recommend this SILLY, WAY OVERPRICED TOY. Not only do I not care about ANY stupid breadvans, but if you really NEED one, get a SERIOUS Toyota, like the LANDCRUISER, the RAV4, the Highlander. MY guess is that most of these clowns that buy those crossovers would do MUCH better with the SIENNA MINIVAN, but they are too much "slaves to fashion" to get one. ALSO, the Sienna has grown too big for some users, maybe Toyota should offer a midsize minivan, a true MINIvan, but they should do their MARKET STUDY first and do it ONLY if it is promising sales-wise. CONCLUSION: TIM AGAIN STRIKES OFF. IF YOU ARE FOOLISH ENOUGH and have so little GOOD TASTE as to want this LEGO TOY of a car, go ahead, make my day, be a GOD DAMNED FOOL and BUY ONE. "A fool and his money are SOON PARTED".

Welcome to the FJ Cult, where people straight-face ask $28,000 for a 11-year-old vehicle with over 100,000 miles.
  • Lorenzo If it's over 30 years old and over 80k miles, and not a classic, it's a parts car, worth no more than 20% of original price.
  • Dusterdude No mileage noted on a 33 year old car means likely well north of 300k + miles , along with issues noted , should equate to an ask price of less than $3k
  • Ajla IMO, something like this really should be naturally-aspirated.
  • Kjhkjlhkjhkljh kljhjkhjklhkjh Unless they are solid state batteries you BAN THEM. I like EVs... but EVs like to burn ... for days
  • Kjhkjlhkjhkljh kljhjkhjklhkjh uh .. it looks like a VW golf got the mumps
