Jaguar Rolling Out One More Special Edition Before Killing the F-Type
The rumors of Jaguar’s demise may be overblown, but the automaker is slimming its lineup ahead of going electric in 2025. One unfortunate victim of that transition will be the F-Type, Jag’s lone sports car, but before it goes, the company is releasing one more special edition.
Jaguar will build 150 of the new ZP edition F-Type before killing it off after 2024, with coupes and convertibles planned. Exclusive blue and grey paints will be available, which Jaguar said is an homage to the E-Type Project ZP Collection from years past.
The interior gets upgrades from Jaguar-Land Rover’s SV Bespoke unit, including red and black leather or blue and black leather, horizontal seat stitching, and a number plate designating the car’s place in the 150-unit production run.
Though the car gets a range of exclusive touches, it retains the beating heart that makes the standard F-Type so enjoyable: The 575-horsepower supercharged V8 engine. The powertrain delivers a 3.5-second 0-60 mph time, a top speed of 186 mph, and 516 pounds of torque, making the F-Type a rowdy, if slightly unrefined, car to drive.
Jaguar hasn’t detailed pricing or a release date for the special edition car yet, but the standard 2024 F-Type is available on the automaker’s website with a $114,275 starting price, including the $1,275 destination charge.

F type was a banger when it was released. The facelift was a step back and now it's just long in the tooth, sadly.

Even if you include the much more popular Land Rover, Indian owned Jaguar-Land Rover's sales in the US market are DISMAL, its market share has sunk to a horribly low 0.4%, or a TENTH of what Tesla sold this year (so far)
