Ford Prices Sasquatch Package at $2,990 for Badlands Trim
The off-road package, which includes one heckuva lot more than just knobby tires, will be available early in the 2025 calendar year.
Pricing for the 2025 Bronco Sport has appeared on American versions of Ford’s build-and-price tool, revealing just how much it’ll cost for customers to pop for a Sasquatch-ified all-wheel drive Bronco Sport.
According to the site, shown here in screencaps, anyone selecting the $39,995 Badlands trim will be able to add the Sasquatch package as a standalone item for just $2,990. This means a total sum of $44,580 including freight – not quite cheap as chips but at least Blue Oval marketers aren’t (yet) demanding the selection of gratuitous options packages to get the good stuff.
That trick is saved for the $34,985 Outer Banks trim, it seems. Trying to add the Sasquatch package to this model resulted in a total of over five grand in options since it required taking the Outer Banks Tech package. This pushed the total to $42,355 including freight, an amount which makes the Badlands a no-brainer if yer selecting the ‘squatch.
As a reminder, the Sasquatch package brings a yaffle of gear including Bilstein-branded dampers, a more robust cooling fan, steel plating on some exterior surfaces including the rear bumper, and those clever swing-out fender tiedowns. Visual drama is amped by the presence of 235/65R17 tires (29-inch according to off-road parlance) and a burly brush guard.
Alert readers will note these trim prices are slightly more than last year. A 2024 Badlands used to start at $38,390 while an Outer Banks was $33,935. The build-and-price tool permitted the selection of all standard paint colors with the Sasquatch package plus some ‘squatch-themed wallpaper should you feel the need.
A notation on the site says deliveries of the Bronco Sport with a Sasquatch package are expected to commence early next year.
